Rear seats ruined :(

I have a 2001 VTR all has been well over a year of ownership. Yesterday I noticed my back seats are soaking wet and the fabric has pretty much come apart and decentigrated...

Seems to be water coming in the top right hand sie of the celing - the sunroof has always dripped a little but never notices the back seats wet before. I have taken the back seats out not and need some advice to locate the likely source of the leak.

Also is it best to buy complete new back seats or I notice the fabric zips off can you buy replacement covers (I dont mean halfords jobs) I mean the original citroen ones. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sunroof probably happens to most saxos !

and as for seats try your local scrapyards or ebay ect.. youl be able to pick a rear bench up for next to nothing !

My last VTR had a sunroof leak.
All you have to do to fix it, is take of the aerial, but abit of sealant around it, refit it, and and that should stop it.

    Dont know if this helps?

usually the ariel leaks at the front?

    it will be the sunroof

take the head lining out, dry it all up, take the whole sunroof out and reseal it

is it not to far 4ward for the sun roof to effect the rear seats? i knocked the rubber seal off the roof liner round the top of the boot there was bit of water in the boot space

no it travels along the roof lining and gets trapped
