exhaust melting bumper

my VTR has an aftermarket exhaust (no idea on type!) and sits very high. to the point where its actually resting against the bumper and melting it!

any idea what to do? hangers all look fine.

Cut the bumper out or alter the bracket that holds the exhaust so it hangs alittle lower? Use ur own initiative?

    Good luck

Either bend the brackets on the exhaust, or get some longer rubbers.

put something like a bit of card and put in inbetween the bumper and the exhaust should stop the problem

As said longer rubbers would be your best bet

if you need something to last you a week or so till you get new rubbers just a couple of cable ties will do it so it sits lower.

    obv not a permanent solution.

This happened with mine, but after the exhaust was adjusted to sit properly, i had it cut properly and it sits perfect 2-3mm gap between exhaust and bumper
