Switching back to standard airbox and filter

   I'm thinking of swapping my K&N induction kit back to the OEM airbox, filter and pipes. I doubt I'll notice any difference in performance much but will the noise be different? (I have standard mani and Supersprint centre section and Ashley backbox) Also because it's an enclosed filter will the car run any better/worse?

   You will get reduced noise as its enclosed and as for performance you may notice a very slight change as you shouldnt be sucking in as much hot air. Your best of getting an uprated panel filter and sitcking it in the standard air box, then get yourself a better cold air feed. This will get you the best performance out of the induction system (if any).

   why not try the raceland enclosed induction kit? i noticed the gains straight away
