engine bay respray

    as you may have seen my bottom end has cracked so desiced to take the car off the road till summer, and get it reali sorted, totali engine rebuild, ect. i have removed the engine and loom ect now, and its a littled rushed and paints abit shit, just wondering how much ppl charage for a engine bay respray? and maybe interia respray?

    I got mine done about 4 yers ago for about £120.00, was a crap job though. Best use someone you can trust with a good reputation or have viewed their work before.

    It was a pleasure putting the cleaned and painted engine and bits back in though. Would recommend it mate if you have time to prep it up etc.

    hmm, i reckon he might charage about 200ish near me then;/. well engines out, and onli few bits and bobs left in the bay witch cud easly be removed or tiyed out the way.

    You get what you pay for, in your case should be a good job. If your keeping the car for a while defo do it. makes such a difference. lash some smoothright on the block and wire brush the head up a bit, a nice colour on the rocker cover as well, lovely job, I can see it now. Also you could paint the exhaust with BBQ paint! Looks better than rust eh!

    well block and gear box are been painted with hight temp stain black, then the cam ladder bit bright blue, polished rocker covers and carbon fiber bit over the coilpack. then obvs all engine bay silver to match car.
