Vtr vts bottom ends

   Basicali some of you may have seen my thread about my cracked bottom
   end on my vts, will a vtr bottom end fit my vts head the same? As I have a spare vtr engine? Or is this a stupid question?

   No it wont fit. The VTR block wont fit the VTS head.

   It's Silver top earli modle vtr engine if tht matters, y won't it fit what's different

   i have been told tht it will fit but the vtr dose have a oil gauge but the vts dose, if thts just in the slump couldt i put my vts slump on the vtr block? or is this just not going to work?

   It wont fit, Its a completly different fit.

   what about the vts head breather that goes back to the sump?

   cheers mate, was worth a shot anyways, apart from 106gti and saxo vts is there anyother doner cars tht i could look at?

    if you use the vtr bottom end say bye bye to your valves the pistons are not rebated for them
