Theoretically for 40mm no you dont need to change the dampers if you dont want to,

would i recommend it - yes everytime!

All depends how much cash you have spare, its well worthwhile changing the dampers too, but if you're purely after looks and are on a strict budget then its not essential

im on a strict budget but i want handling lol it would handle better with them springs on and original dampers yes ?

it will be better due to the lower centre of gravity, you will feel a good difference. Of course you can get alot better with dampers too but if you dont know what you're missing, you'll stil be pleased with the results

would you just need to replace the rear shocks or do you need to take the front spring off again and put the new shock on if you do it after lowering?
