Tingy noise when goin over bumps

    Every time I go over a bump I hear a tingy noise comin from the rear of the car, I've had a new exhaust on the car and it still makes the noise. It does sound like the exhaust hitting something. The other thin I can think of is the rear axle. The only reason why I don't think it's the axle is cos the car drives really smooth, would you be able to tell if your axle is damaged from driving it or is it something you can only find by closer inspection? Also when I revers it sounds like my exhaust is vibrating against something, any one got any ideas?

    sounds like an exhaust mount has gone mate, thats would make that "tingy" sound when it bounces etc, and vibrating/rubbing when low in the revs

    give the exhaust a bit of a rattle to see if its tappin on the rear bumper

    Thanks I shall jack up the car and check these m13 bolts. I shall check the exhaust mounts too, where are the mounts?

    mine does this, cheers crx, im sure that will fix mine, ile try it later.
