Not sure if this is a common problem or..
When I first start the car up it fires up fine, seems to idle fine but when i put my foot down it doesnt want to go anywhere, will just run dog rough and stutter (no backfire or black smoke though). Then it will struggle to idle and sometimes cuts out. It will do this for about 2 miniutes then after that its normal..
What strange though is 90% of the time its fine, including cold starts and after long runs ect, its just an intermittant fault that keeps coming back say once a week..
I've ran a bottle of redex through and also replaced the filter with a k&n panel to no avail
Also ive noticed when i put the clutch in to change gear the rev's climb slightly without even touching the acclarator, strange?
Im now thinking it could be a crank sensor?
I've got it booked in for a service next weekend so i'l ask them to plug it in see if its ecu related but i though i'd just ask anyway.
