saxo vtr power boost valve

    hi im no to having a saxo vtr and im just woundering if a power boost valve is any good for putting on these cars as ive been not they do make a decent difference but the guys whos told me are bit of a tools. so could any1 please let me know thanks

    avoid them. They serve no purpose expensive crap tbh.

    You have a fpr on the car already.

    Don't bother getting one, it won't do anything. Put the money towards a good exhuast or manifold instead.

    ok thanks for the help guys. i was looking in to a exhaust and manifold so far found a middle section sports tube desilenced as i already have a back box on the car. also if i changed just the cam pulley and not the camshaft would that take abit of strain of the engine and give it a boost in moving? cheers

    yeah there about as good as them 99p resistor chips off ebay that give you an extra 546bhp per wheel y0! haha these things make me laugh, buy a good exhaust system and/or a good 4-2-1 manifold.

    That cam pulley is useless without having a different cam which needs the timing adjusting
