Whirring when turning??

  1. #1
Hey, whenever i am turning right there is a whirring coming from what sounds like the front right wheel!

Ive been told this could be the wheel bearings!

Is this likely or could it be something else!

    Cheers

More than likely it will be your wheel bearing.

But check tyre isn't rubbing on inner plastic arch liner it could have come loose and is rubbing on the tyre when you turn, if not then probably wheel bearing.

If its when your driving its your bearing or when you just turning the wheels possible power steering pump

as above, before you change anything on the wheel turn the wheels at either very slow speed or stationary. if the whirring is still there (gets higher pitched the faster you turn the wheel) its your power steering pump.

    mine does the same (Y)
