light tinting

   hi all..i have just smoked my rear lights..looks fantastic (like a mirror)..iv done 3 coats (not heavy coats just normal..they look dark and lights still show through..just wondering if three coats is too much?
   
   opinions please?

   Pics? Also, have you sprayed over the reflector?

   hmmmm i cnt get pics cos not premium member?and no iv just sprayed the outside of the lights

   There is a square reflector inside the taillight casing. If you have sprayed over the whole of the light then you will have covered the reflector. This will most probably fail an mot. Most people either just spray the top half of the light only or the whole thing except that square reflector.

   you can still uploads pics if youre not premium mate, just add them to photobucket then use the img code on here

   Yeh mate they will be illegal if youve gone too dark over the reflector.
   
   But you can stick a reflector on the back of your car for MOT.

   yer i jus blacked my lights out and gona put reflective tape about 1.5" wide rite along the bottom of the boot
