Gear linkage changing

   Ok guys my linkages are fucked any guide how to replace all 3 without removing gear box??

   17mm and 13mm spanner.
   
   Use the open end spanner and put it between the gearlinkage and the ball joint, then pull the spanner so the end of the open ring push against the gear linkage. Dont do it so your pushing the link off with the end your holding with.
   
   Easy peasy.
   
   Oh and pop the new ones back on.

   Fuck that not worth paying a garage. I only let garages do brake and suspension work everything else is worth a stab at.

   £50 for a full set of linkages will cost you around £30 at a garage (takes no longer than an hour)

   It takes about 5 minutes doing it my method lol.

    They are realy easy to do. 10/15 mins tops.
    The hardest part in getting the old ones off.
    very aesy to get to from underneath the front end with it jacked up a little.

    Lol my method of working on a car is parking it up the kerb and I jack the other end up and a instant ramp! Not so good in winter tho :s

    shouldnt wrk under a car supported by just a jack.
    
    im looking to do my linkages soon, but waiting till its on a ramp when having brakes fitted

    Irc them xsport ones are £40 and standard ones are too.

    Btw can anyone tell me if I can buy the 2 shorter gear linkages from citroen dealers? or do I have to buy them in a whole (2 shorter, 1 longer)

    i know what linkages are just how to get the bastard things off is the probl;em. easy enough unhooking from gearbox but unhooking them from the gear stick leaver bar thing is a nightmare!!!
