#2You need to find out which ABS sensor(s) are faulty, then get them replaced. A diagnostic check should be able to tell you.
The handbrake light will start working as normal when the above is sorted. -
#3Yep, get it sorted.
Won't be passed with those issues. -
#4If the lights are you'll fail. Sounds like an ABS sensor has gone.
-
#5yeah it has theres no resistence on 1, i bought 4 from saxospares off here but 1 was faulty and he wont send me another 1 which works. any1 know where to get them from?
-
#6Eurocarparts or any local motor factors should be able to get them.Quote:yeah it has theres no resistence on 1, i bought 4 from saxospares off here but 1 was faulty and he wont send me another 1 which works. any1 know where to get them from?
ABS light will go off and the handbrake light will start working as normal. -
#7plus if i get the sensor changed will the light for the hand brake go off and leave the abs one on?
-
#8is £80 too much cos that's what citroen want and andrew page i rang up gsf and they don't think they exist lol
-
#9£62.28 each delivered for front ABS sensors from Eurocarparts. Doesn't list the ones for the rear ones though.
-
#10Not really. I paid about 60-70 for mine.

#13just pu my new abs sensor on and the abs lights atill on checked resistence on them all and all are now fine are you sure i wont need to cancel the code for the light to extinguish?
-
#14You driven it far? Sometimes takes a few miles for the fault to clear.
-
#15ah i drove it round the block its not got a mot but im goin work in it tomorrow so will wait and see. thanks does it matter which side the sensors are on ie can you swap the two rear sensors round like from left 1 to right 1?
-
#16Shouldn't think it'll make any difference mate... as long as it's a sensor for the rear. Driving it a few miles should do the trick I rekon.
