   Looks good mate i did mine red at the weekend. For some reason mine needed a lot more than 2 coats lol

   I was going to do them red but decided to do them yellow.
   You just have to put it on really thick

    good job, did mine in smooth yellow hammerite last week had to resand one though and do again due to abit of over ambitious painting lol, the paint really didnt seem to stick till half the can was on lol....

    First time i did mine i did 2 coats of yellow smooth hammerite, turned out fine as i prepped the surface properly. Second time 1 coat has started to flake a little.

    motorspares will probably be slightly cheaper than halfords for paint.

    how did you prepare them mate? just wire brush? or sand them? with whaaat?
    
    thinking of doing mine this week.....

    All i did mate is sand them down will wire brush and sand them with 120 grit applyed primer 1 light coat.
    1 tin will be plenty mate.
