Power steering.....

   Started up my car about 2 hours after last using it and the power steering just didnt work... it was REALLY heavy so i pulled away and made do along the road until approaching a corner i slowed down and realised how important it was to have PAS.. I then accelerated hard to the end of the road and it kicked back in... WHAT HAPPENED?! D:
   
   Will it do it again?

   PAS pump is on its way out, happened to me. Sometimes hitting it with a hammer or going over a bump works to bring it back to life, but that will only work a certain amount of times. Can pick one up from scrappy for about £40-60

   you might be lucky, mine went and with the hammer trick lasted another 2-3 months! but now it's completely gone but i'm kinda used to it now haha

   Make sure you havent leaked any of the fluid before you go replacing the pump. And if your car is lowered then make sure that the PAS pipes havent rubbed on ur steering column and split- this is a known problem and it happened to me.
   
   If both of these are ok then replace the pump.
