iv done this and just go 16v mate just the same amount of hassle in the end and i regret it now
you will need
engine
ecu (unlocked one)
loom (will need spliceing to your car one)
shafts (if 16v)
brakes (whatever conversion)
gearbox (can use 1.1 one)
then while your doing it all the other bits for eg
head set (all gaskets,head bolts etc)
water pump
cam belt kit
clutch (again i lernt from my misteak with this and only did the bearing now gotta strip mine down again

)
all new bolts for things like:
manifold,
driveshafts,
wish bones etc
gear linkages
all new filters
oil both engine/gearbox
its all these little bits people useually miss and what add up its cost me over 1k to do mine and thats with a mate in the trade aswell,and then its always best to have a bit put aside for teething issues like a sensor thats playing up or somthing like that etc
mines still not right wish i had left it 1.1 tbh now never let me down onece
