4-2-1 manifold

    do these make much differents in power and sound to exhausts

    i have a 1.4 westcoast

    Sound = Yes
    Power = Marginally

    If you have a cat-back exhaust system already, then a 4-2-1 should give you a little gain in power. Good ones to go for are - Supersprint, Piper, GMC

    Yes it will make a difference in power.

    db_sax had a bloody quick westy cant remeber if he had a 4-2-1 but he had a vts box and enclosed induction kit. That thrashed vtr's.

    i have beaten vtrs already and that was just with a induction kit also ecu was unlocked and made to rev higher i was told but now fitted a enclosed one and thinking of getting a manifold

    What exhaust system have you got mate?

    (By the way, the fact that your car can rev higher doesn't help, since the powerband doesn't go into the higher revs on a Westie so basically it would be better to change gear at 5k or so, going up into 6,7,8k RPM is a worse point to change gear with standard cams, as there is hardly any power or torque up there.

    Sell it.

    Get a Magnex or a Supersprint, decat, and a Supersprint or Piper 4-2-1

    Should give you a really good gain, sound absolutely amazing and even spit the occasional flame and backfire / pop.
