Rocker Cleaning

   How should i go about cleaning my rocker, i want to get all the rust off, so im think of taking it off and sanding it down, then paint it red. How do i remove it, should i sand it? and also what type of paint should i use?

   I used a wire wheel in a drill to remove paint and rust. Painted with normal rattle can in grey. looks okay but I think smoothright paint will be longer lasting. I have used this before with good results oin rocker covers and brackets etc.

   heat proof paint needed? and would it work with sandpaper, as i dont have a wire wheel or drill

   23 quid for a new one from citroen so just buy new save some time
