Track rod ends

   Hi all.
   My mate is doing my track rod ends on Tuesday but forgot to tell me what I need to buy!
   Any guidance welcome!

   just a set of track rod ends for a vts....
   
   try and set the new ones the same as the old ones, you will need to drive to a garage to get the track done though...

   also one tool that would be a life saver is a ball joint splitter.
   
   the track rod ends are tappered and are a cunt to get out, but this tool makes it so much easier...

   put the nut over the thread, and hit the nut with a hammer in a sideways direction, this'll help to dislodge the trackrod end from the strut and make it easier to get them out.

   Thanks boys. My mate has his own garrage so pretty sure he will know what to do, although he does specialize in beemers!
