brake upgrade

   got a 1.4 shell but puttin vts in.. i was going to at first put a rear disc conversion on but then i thought i want it to look like a 1.4 still so was thinking of just upgrading the front brakes.. so 2 questions
   
   1. which brakes should i get for the front only...e.g. can i take them off other citroens with bigger engines in..
   
   2. if i decide with rear disc conversion will the rear axle of a vtr/vts just fit straight on?

   1. 266mm brakes from 206 gti, Citroën Berlingo etc. are a popular choice. Then the 283mm from 306 gti-6 are also a common upgrade.
   
   2. I'm not 100% sure but the beam will bolt directly to the car but I think you have to make up the brake lines to meet with the new calipers.
