exhaust bolt problem :(

    my exhaust has been blowing for a while between the downpipe and manifold so today i decided to get a new gasket and change it, problem solved it doesnt blow, but when putting it all back together if i put the 3 bolts in to hold the downpipe on the bottom bolt wouldnt go in, and visa versa. is there a certain way of doing this? thanks

    The nuts often rust away to almost nothing. It's possible that it might be miss threaded. Try cleaning up the nut and threads it screws onto. It's a bit tight down there though so I apreciate this will be awkward mate.

    If no good take it to local exhaust place, they deal with these problems every day and will be able to sort you out quickly enough.
