Top speeds of peoples saxo's!

   for the first time since ive had the car, i actually managed to get my top speed of my vts, its an r reg, boarded, with exhaust system and induction kit, flys like shit of the line and managed to squeeze 135 out of it. Just intrested to see if anyone has hit there top speed on the lovely roads of britain, and what they got out of it! Cheers

   not very wise to come on a public forum and bragg about doing 135mph when the fastest you can legaly go is 70mph.

   your brave starting this post on this site, you tell people whot speed you got and they tell you its impossible even tho they havent been in your car, i got 142 out of mine, limiter in 5th but apparintly its not possible so i must have been dreaming it!! come arrest me in ireland coppers ha

   i done like 178mph in my stadud vtr y0!! was nuff fast!!! need to get me sum bigg wheelz and indukshun kit. Got me a ebay supa chip on orda geeza!! datz gona get me an extra 83 horses unda da h00d init blud!

   My friends dad (who is far too loaded!!) has alot of land with a half mile strip built in. He has a few fast cars, i managed 127 on the clock (so prob about 120 actual) in a vtr with straight through and open induction.
   i think a vts standard top speed is about 135 and a vtr is about 120, but dont quote me.

    137mph in 4th gear. VTR box in my VTS. -10% as the speedos are not accurate.

    I cant see how a Saxo VTR can do 135mph (unless there tuned up)???? thats faster then my Glanza.........altho my glanza is limited to 112mph......(and no i havent been 112mph before any1 ask there all limited to that speed when there imported)

    But seriously i don't like to take it over 100, I know it can do alot more so I don't see the need to find out on the public roads. Besides speedos are never accurate anyway.

    Lol that made me lauph. Lets see 70mph is the limit plus 10% leway, ummmm 77mph is my top speed, dont really drive the car for speed, thats what me bike is for
