ECU related, wtf is going on!?! heeeeeeelppp!!

   Basically the engine management light keeps coming on and off intermittently over the past 3 weeks, had several read outs of 'aging cat' and 'misfire / misfire cylinder 2'
   
   Replaced the spark plugs, coolant temp sensor and coilpack.
   
   Had Citroen diagnose / reset the injectors etc.
   
   Yet still on a cold start it starts up and misfires, however turning the engine off and then back on again it's all fine.....
   
   Any ideas??? Going mad 'ere

   Cat / lambda tested all fine aswell.

   I had similar issue,coolant temp sensor was faulty,but only change to another one wasn´t helpful,guy at shitroen says that "autoadopt" mas be done,it´s some kind of reseting of ECU and it will re-read most of sensors.It can be done only on shitroen diagnostic.

   One thing I don't understand is why when I start it from cold, it misfires - turn it off then back on and it's fine ??

   Car still intermittently misfiring / struggling to start but now overheating aswell, had a lot of white smoke from exhaust the other day but that was a one off and the oil colour on head is a yellow colour/clogged up.... thinking head gasket now, but possibly another problem for it to be overheating? radiator related? fuck sake!!!!!!!!!!!!! excuse my language
