Sump nut and washer

  1. #1
Anyone know where i can get some? was told to change the sump nut and washer along with oil and oil filter changes to prevent any cross threading or damage to the sump when taking/putting the bolt back in.

atm the bolt is on really really tight, if i was to remove it and not replace the sump nut will this damage it eventually?

tbh i didnt bother mate just make sure the sump washer and nut seals properly.

Make sure the washer isnt bent and just check the nut make sure it looks ok no obv thread damage etc

    Should be fine mate

Get em from main dealers they're not expensive and while you're there get genuine oil filters they're roughly same price as pattern from Halfrauds lol

Mine is EXTREMELY tight. Once i take it off using a breaker bar its not going to go back on - i can promise you the nut would be fucked.

My citroen main dealer hasnt got any, gonna have to wait 5-7 days for a fricking nut to arrive.

Anywhere else i can get a sump nut from? so far changing oil seems to be as frustrating as an engine conversion..
