#2You have just opened a big tin of worms Rich!
For power I believe standard is better than open cone but an open cone will give the noise most peeps look for. -
#3na the noise dosent bother me i was thinking mayb it would free up the revs a bit more ?

#4With an induction kit you won't notice any improvement in performance just more induction noise, i'd go pipercross panel filter with a better cold air feed to the airbox, i've had all sorts of induction kits on many different cars with no noticeable increase in performanceas any increase in bhp would be minimal.

#5if it just a air filter modification there wont be any gains whether you use the standard enclosed system, expensive enclosed systems or just a cheap ebay open air induction.
Heat soak wouldnt be much of a problem either - the saxos arent high performance cars whereas higher powered cars would be more affected by it.. -
