#2Sounds like crankcase is pressurised forcing oil into the airbox. This could be one of two main things. Either your piston rings/bores are worn allowing combustion gasses past intop the crankcase/sump and forcing oil up in to the airbox or oneof the breather may be blocked/trapped/kinked/blocked off by previous owner.
have a poke about snd come back if not solved mate. -
#3oneof the breather may be blocked/trapped/kinked/blocked off by previous owner
Where would i find that its a 1.4 west coast cherrs mate -
#4sounds like an extreme case of back pressure!!!
-
#5Could be a blocked breather pipe - if not, sounds like piston rings are dead.
A compression test will confirm this. -
#6over filled the engine with oil?
-
#7it does sound like breathers are blocked get abit of new pipe mate and change them mate
-
#8had this problem my self, its definantly crankcase pressure, if its not blocked pipes, its rings or worse,
-
#9Cheers guys where is the breather pipe
-
#10Did you overfill the oil?
-
#11Dont think so what it was is that when i baught the car i check most things and about two weeks ago i went to change the filter for a k and N one to find the oil and no filter so i emptyed it and now theres still some in there but not much, i have found out that a girl had it before me ???? she could have over filled it.
-
#12Help just checked this and the oil has now started coming out of the air intake pipe and theres loads of it and its all coming up from the engine block ????? where is the breather pipe sop i can check this first before taking it to a garage
-
#13I would use this reason, to do a vtr engine conversion!
-
#14Its the small pipe this guy is on about (with photo)

#15there's a few breather pipes buddy. one normally on the rocker cover going up towards the air box, and any other pipe connected to the airbox. just remove them and blow down them to see if they're blocked.
-
#16sounds like the engines goosed mate, if its coming out of the inlet theres gotta e some pressure behind it as the vacuum stroke shoul suck in pretty hard. id say your rings are none existant, hows te engine run?
-
#17engine runs fine like no problems with it ???
-
#18ye mine seemed like it was running fine when my rings had gone,
if u r getting that much oil, from short running, it is more than likely ur rings, -
#19So how long do you wrekon before i am going to have to have them done and a rough price
