sqeeking coming from boot???

   I have a horrible sqeeking noise coming from my boot and I cant figure out what it is can any1 help please?? cheers

   did that and the plastic trim inside on the back of the boot its crazing me its soo loud

   guanrantee its your spare wheel cage. Tighten the bolt up.

   I guarantee its your boot squeeking against the rubber.try unwinding the rubber spacers or adjusting the catch.

    Peel the rubber seal off that goes all around the boot, cover the metal in WD40, then pop the seal back on

    yip i agree with VTomR i had this problem am i dident have a spare wheel in and it was the cage i got a new spare wheel and put that in Tighten the bolt job done

    My boot lid rubs on the rubber seal, give it arub over with WD40 and it stops it for a while. My boot lock is adjusted correctly as well.

    Its probably the rubber seal mate like some others have mentioned. Take the seal off and wd40 and i found actually tightening the latch solved the problem. The boot takes a bit more effort to close but is worth it .

    your right i took the spare wheel out and problem solved cheers for all the ideas
