If you can use tools then yes, its pretty straight forward.

    It's hell.
Buy yourself the exhaust gasket kit from Citroen before you get started - it'll have a new fire-ring, new screws, bolts and springs. and buy your 12 (or 16 I can't remember) manifold nuts and get some spare studs as well. Maybe get a new manifold gasket too.

Spray the manifold studs and nuts with WD40 first of all and give it a bit of time to nibble in.

Remove the airfilter and any associated parts upstream. You should see a blue connector which you need to disconnect (that's the upstream lambda). This'll also free up some space for when you remove the manifold.

    Remove the Purge Valve:
and the piping - can just be moved out of the way.

Under the car you want to remove the two fasteners (with the springs) that connect the (de)cat to the manifold. The manifold comprises of two parts and close the connection between the two you've got the lambda probe which you need to remove (with a 22 spanner) - you might have to wait until the manifold is actually out before you remove it (I can't remember off the top of my head).

Try to split the manifold into it's two component parts as it weighs a TONNE.

Now loosen off the manifold studs/nuts. and begin to pull the manifold forward... Be bloody careful you don't want to drop it, or smash it into the radiator... The radiator is bloody fragile so take it easy.

you should be able to get the manifold out with a bit of wiggling.

Then you pop your new one on. Gradually turning the manifold nuts (it's a really big pig to turn them.

You need to reposition the lambda wire to go behind the engine and close to the driveshaft as the lambda sleeve is at the very bottom of the manifold.

Bolt the exhaust back up and you're sorted!

Actually that above shows some of the tight radius on the pipes and it makes it soooo difficult to get in with a spanner and tighten the bolts up.

    good luck
