boot flush pannels

   Hey wanting to flush my boot just wandering if the boot flush pannels are any good ?

   no they aren't, the filler will crack and it will look cack after a while.
   
   the best way to do it is to weld a metal plate over the openning and smooth over that.

   i know the 1s u mean but no they are crap because you can see the lip round the panel which looks like u slapped it on

   the money you'll spend to get it smoothed in etc will be the same as getting it done properly ie a plate welded over the number plate recess so best go the proper route.

   ive got a smooth tailgate but didnt weld a plate in as the plate will rust. I just wacked loads of filler in! so far so good!

   the filler wont last that long im willing to bet, and it'll crack!
   
   and i cant see how the plate will rust!!!

    i agree metal plate is by far the best way to go , cant see it rusting either, will only cost you about 200 quid and looks loads better than the cheap panels that crack

    bound to come out sooner or later when you keep opening closing the boot , i wouldnt recomend doing it this way
