Silenced and Un-silenced Supersprint Race Center Sections

Is there much sound difference in these?

What are peoples opinions of both?

If you could upload some videos that would be great! Preferably with the stainless steel Kam Racing backbox

    Cheers in advance.

i agree really intresed to know if it would get away with a pass from the mot with the silencer straight thru pipe i saw that on there two buddy was just thinking it is worth getting the silcened one if it will pass mot !! ??

Unsilenced straight through exhaust, ashley back box, raceland 4-2-1 manifold

Will never pass the MOT due to having no cat, but i dont think not having a silencer matters

    Cheers mate, any more videos?

Silencer won't affect the MOT nor the emissions...

but restricts airflow so not as much gains from the exhaust system

It doesn't restrict it mate, or very little if it does...

Better than a cracked blowing centre pipe either way

your getting confused with the cat, silencers dont affect the emissions, if you get a cat back straight through pipe then you still have the cat so it will pass an mot, but if you get a manifold back pipe like mine then no it wont pass because I've got a longer pipe which replaces the cat as well as the center pipe, unless you have an engine with the cat in the manifold then even the manifold back center pipe will pass an mot as long as you keep your cat it will pass

Noise may effect the MOT if the tester decides not to pass it if they deem it too loud. It does happen but less often then not they don't care.

I am looking at getting the racepipe with silencer as without it is doing my head in. Plus I want to hear the throttle bodies more.
