What gearbox oil?

   As above what gearbox oil do i need to use on a VTR gearbox?

   Im using 75w-90 fully syn as suggested by the oil man

   Recommended SAE 75W/80 or thereabouts.

   Gearbox oil capacity for all models is 2.0 Litres.

   Use the level bung. Just take out the level bung (the bung above driveshaft height) on a flat surface and if oil drains out, you have too much so allow it to drain until nothing comes out. This will then be the correct amount. If nothing comes out, leave the drain bung out and top up until oil comes out. As for the oil itself, thinner oil is less restrictive, thicker oil gives quieter opertation and potentially longer life.
