   hi would low prifile tyres help a lot on a track day due to less give in the side walls? cheers

   yep, low profiles may help ie they will be more rigid but you need to take into account gearing and wheel size etc etc, its a lot more complicated than just changing the boots and you'll knock more time off a lap with a decent bit of coaching.

   Not necessarily, look at track tyres, the likes of R888s/A048s etc, they don't come in 'low profile', there's not an issue with a small amount of flex tbh.
