    as above took my door cards off to re-trim them and messed it up.

    here are the things i got

    What i did was i cut the faux leather fabric put the glue on it and the door and put them both together and soon as they both touched it glued down no time to move it or nothing . so i took it off cleaned the door up again got the other piece of faux leather fabric and took the backing off it stuck that down no problems there again put more glue on the door and faux leather fabric same happened again stuck down before i could move it

    Any idea's ?

    Learn to know when your beat. But seriously this sort of stuff is for people in the trade really who have experience in this sort of thing. Maybe there is a local firm who could assist you / or you could just forget the whole thing and out it down to a bad job

    use different glue that allows you a few minutes to adjust?

    i was thinking of changing the glue .... no pics just ripped the stuff off and put in bin .

    i did mine a while back with that spray glue you get it the fabric shop paid about a £5 for the can and it lets you move it around abit

    thats how mine turned out and that was my first time every doing them look ace ta

    usually u put a fluid on the back like when you do vinyl i assume.....or as stated something bit more fluidy that will give you some movement...

    maybe try only glueing a little bit at a time, so glue the area that youre starting on, then let that set, then glue the next bit etc etc..?

    use spray glue. and start in a corner

    i just did mines tey turned out perfec it was putting it back together as there was no room left to put screws in it must have been wen cutting it off bur i couldnt see any way of doing it

    just use evo stick i did my door cards with it came out perfect. used spray glue too and in summer it all bubbled off as it wasn;t strong enough to hold the leatherette on

    i used both on mine. two types come in a can, ones white and the others clear, both kept behind the till at b&q. check out my guide for re trimming might have written it on there?

    I use that glue all the time, its the kind of glue that can hang a man from the celing if you so wish. In other words thats the complete wrong stuff, the spray glue everyone mentioned is fine.

    i just used spray glue and looks great as you can see above and if you just spray a part and stick it down flatten it and then spray more flatten it out and so on
