hi people. just got myself a mk2 vts. its already lowered, with a cat-back pipe on it. i've put a bmc induction kit on there, and a brembo brake kit.

i wanna go as far as pos engine wise without turbo/supercharging.

what do people think the order of mods should be? (with regards 2 cams, chip/re-map, manifold, throttle bodies, etc) i can't afford 2 do everything at once but i want 2 progress it every couple of months or so!

any advice would be much appriciated.

Cams and 4-2-1 manifold would be the most worthy buys me thinks.

any reccomendations for where 2 get it done?

i spend half my time near chester and half near swindon!

do it yourself if you got tha balls

nothing to it with the manifold, so i hear.

tbh i dont know of garages that would do that for you... someone will be along shortly who can help im sure.

    yeah 4-2-1 thirst
then cams but when doing this have the head done aswell. will save you money. and a remap aswell, or maybe standalone if your deffo going throttlebodies.

what can be done to the throtle bodies

you don't need to touch the standard throttle body, so i'd advise a gmc manifold, then save up until you can afford to have the cams headwork and ecu remap done all at once as all 3 are needed to compliment each other.to get the most out of multiple throttle bodies isn't exactly cheap as you're talking forged high comp pistons and a wild cam to get the absolute most out of them. for my money i'd get it boosted instead

like sean has mention by the time youve spent all you dosh on wild cams and the other shit you may as well have a nicer car to drive with it charged. but other than that a fast road cam, port & polish and manifold then when your happy re map imo.

slap the gmc manifold on there mate. follow it up with some tasty cams and throttle bodies.

    like the ones there.

then you should be on 160bhp atw roughly

    cheers for the advise people.

and all constructive aswell! i'm impressd! lol

think i'll go for the manifold first then the cams, head-work an re-map.

i'll keep y'all posted on the progress.

    thanks again
