fibreglass bonnets

    as above has anyone on here got one fitted and are they worth doing as a weight reduction mod?

    some track get funny about them...

    they need to be pinned down very well as they do flex alot.

    They are worth it yes but like frankie said id definatly get aerocatches on them. Also dont expect the paint to last that long as they flex alot.

    yeah thats nice likin the vent i got mine off ebay mk2 bonnet wiv no grill but they flex like mad ive got pin and the catch on mine

    type 'carefully crafted fibreglass' into google and the link will come up for their ebay shop. I cant remember seeing any vented ones but take a look.

    bluenotesmiley has one, they weigh next to nothing. his fell down on his head once when he was under the bonnet and said it didn't hurt lol

    Not good to hear they flex a lot as I was planning to buy a Streamline one at some point..
