    Going to be doing a engine conversion soon how do i go about telling the dvla that i need to change the log book?
    and also how do i go about the insurance because i will be declaring it what do i say to them?

    Section of V5 fill in with new engine number & cc change, send to DVLA.

    Insurance company explain the change, get engineers report, pay more premium.

    You may need recepts for the new engine & swop.

    Do you need the log book of the new engine im puting in?
    for engine number etc?
