Mk2 Vtr sportex manifold blowing help please!

ok ive had this manifold on for about a month now and just cant stop it blowing between the manifold downpipe & the centre pipe (where the mesh gasket ring fits) has any1 else got 1 of these manifolds? ive asked about it before and people said it would stop blowing after the gasket "coked up" but its just not happening and im thinking of putting the standard 1 back if i cant sort it soon. tried exhaust silicone etc, any ideas? thanks in advance
