Mk2 Noisey Gearbox, HELP!

   hello people,
   right my problem is, when i change gear its makes a horrible squeking noise, like it needs lubing, i have already lubed up the rods underneath and still does it, only does it after 10mins of driving. please help,

   did you check the oil in the gear box?

   yeh checked that too mate, doing my head in now,

   it might be worth changing the oil, eventually gears wear out and ull have lil bits in ur gearbox floating around with oil,
   The actual gearboxes from saxos are know to be a lil week, so it can be any thing, might even be the cluth, so if any thing its not that expensive to get a new 2nd hand gearbox and fit.

   I have a squeek from the gearstick (not the box) as well, lift the gaiter up inside the car and drop a bit of oil in there. Worked for mine buddy.
