Gear box play

   Okay i got my 02 saxo the other day from a guy who i get my cars off and this saxo has loads of play in the gear box when it is in gear it can move around fully and its really loose, its this nothing to worry about or should i take it back to him

   Probably easy enough to sort out.
   
   Check the rods and selectors going from the gearstick to the egarbox. Check for the rubber ball on the gear selector rod. Then check gear linkages see if the rubbers are worn or maybe ones popped off. Failing that see if theres any play on the top long gear linkages where it connects to the gearbox. Check the pin that goes through the selector arm, it may have worn or come loose etc.

   okay good, i had a fucking nightmare tryin to tax it, stupid more than wont email so only send its good friday so probs wont get them till tuesday :@ all i wanna do is drive it properly

   anyone have any idea where i can get a new selector pin from or what size bolt do i need to go thru it
