Hey, just went to start the car up and when the fuel pump primed the interior fuel line started spraying me in the face. The leak was at the point where the pipe meets the bulkhead. not sure of exact location, wasn't my first thought tbh. anybody got any ideas on how to disconnect this pipe? depressurise etc etc
    cheers

Hi mate my vtr did this when I first bought it, Is it where the pipe joins in the middle of the bulk head behind the inlet mani or where it goes through the bulk head on the right nr the servo as you look at the car from the front. Not sure if the one on the right is the same but the middle one if it's still standard is a push fit on the joint. Just pull it apart and give it a clean with a rag you will loose a bit of petrol not much just make sure the engine is cold and you ain't smoking. Then push the 2 pipes back together and you'll feel them click. Dry the joint with the rag then turn your key to pre ignition so it primes but doesn't start and see if it's sealed. Mine just needed a clean and it's been fine for a year now.

when i push the pipe to give it some slack it leaks like a bitch.

The join in the pipe is in the engine bay - can reach it through the wheel arch hole

so as the leak is in the compartment it must be a pipe fracture. Best guess is that it has been bent at he bulkhead for so long that one move has fractured it.

sounds like it, best to remove it and check.

Joins are at the bulkhead, and rear bench
