ive got 1 mate. i went for the 4 inch jap style. its not bad. not as loud as i would have hoped 4. well thats from inside the car. few people said it loud though

Why whats wrong with the shop . Iam surprised i got a reply to my post so quick ,as on ssc takes about a week for some 1 to reply

The shop is close to where i live, so i went down to the shop to get a new centre section exhaust and piper cross air filter.They said they would phone me in about a week to come collect them.To cut a long story short ,after 12 weeks of phone calls and numerous trips back and forwards to the shop i eventually got the them only to find they give me the wrong exhaust and wouldn't fit my car.Thats customer service for you.

the mechanic that was ment to be fitting the exhaust told me he is always hearing about them fuckin up

i bought a manifold off them, basically to cut a long story short it was crap quality and the bolt holes didnt line up, after a phone call to them i was told that it 'should' fit as it was the correct manifold for my car (99 vtr) and that they get phone calls from young guys like me all the time (im 19)who dont have a clue what there doing apparently, needless to say after telling them that my dad with 27 years experience as a mechanic was the person fitting it they quickly changed there tune, if it was me personally mate id stay away from them, pure sh1t imo!

i put a 4inch jap sportex backbox on my vtr when i first had it...
was really good but the hanger was crap and it wobbled around and broke the seal with the midsection...
bit loud for my liking.

cant faul janspeed for systems...

LOL i know the mechanic that tried fitting mine has been in business for like 20year or something.My mate just recently had a body kit what didnt arrive aswel

I wouldnt mind seeing these pricks go out of business,been advising everyone i can not to buy from them.

Its good to know people like john accually will help the costomers with problems, not just shun them off once they have you money

sportex pipes are loud on 1.1's mine should be here 2morrow for my vtr, i got the 4" round tail. They do sound awsome thou, cant wait to hear wot its like on a vtr.

Fitting isnt 100% you have to sometimes twist the box a fair bit but other than that they r good specially for under £100.

Backboxs are fine but i heard the manifolds r shit fit !!

in a 1.1 i got a head ache it droaned like a bitch but i believe on a vtr they are supposed to be nice sounding , its cos the 1.1's struggle lol

The sounds is just right on my vtr,not too annoying but turns heads if yer get my drift.it only took me 30-45 minutes to fit it aswell,presuming yours is a "direct fit".

Sportex dont do a universal so no probs there.

no video sorry but they gargle, spit and backfire even on a 1.1

You will probably have to faff about with it for a bit to get it centralised.i bought new mounting rubbers(99p each) and that did the job

yer i remeber having to piss about with it to fit propperly, its mainly cos the hangers are loose and bolt onto the box so u gotta place them rite be4 u bolt it all tight!!!

u get rubbers from citroen or halfrauds?

mounting rubbers were from a local parts shop,halfords only did "universal rubbers" and they were 1.99 each and crap.get some for a saxo
