Front seat removal?

    Hi all,

Removing front seats, power tools or do it by hand? Torque? Would of thought they would have to be ridiculously tight.

    Cheers

Just 4 torx bolts by hand. Use a torx socket bit if you have them. They dont need to be really tight.

Also, there is a orange wire for the seat belt tensioner underneath each front seat. You have to unplug that.

I know where all the bolts are and i have got the right torx bit, was just worried that if i took them off i wouldnt be able to do them up tight enough again for them to be safe. Am i just being paranoid here?

you should be fine mate, took mine out by hand and was easy to put the screws back in tight enough.
make sure you disconnect the battery for 10 mins before you unplug the airbag cable underneath the seat.

Yeah, dont worry too much. Don't do them too tight, you'll strip the threads!
My drivers seat only had three bolts in when i first bought it (didnt realise), that was fine for ages.

4x T40 Torx bolts, unclip airbag wires then remove seat.
