saxo 1.1 exhaust

   how do fit a new downpipe from manifold, would i require new gaskets?
   
   i see the part where it attaches to the cat has a spring bolt thing?? how is this undone? thanks

   You do require new gaskets. One gasket fits between the underside of the manifold and downpipe. The other gasket is a type of 'doughnut' wire seal that fits between the downpipe and centre pipe. The springs that you see are held in place with a cup washer and a nut. Sometimes these can be a bit of a twat to fit.
