Another Cams Thread..... Yawn...

   I have searched but I cant seem to find any answers, is there any way to tell if my saxo already has cams in it without dismantling it?

   Yes it does have cams mate obviously standard ones I'm guessing it's a vts u have?

   Pop the exhaust cam cover off and have a look for any markings on the cam. I know Newmans are usually stamped 'sport cam'.

   Lol I know it has cams, I should of made myself a bit clearer..... Is there anyway of telling if I have Uprated cams without dismantling?

   Pretty much mate. Coil pack cover off, then undo the bolts on the cam cover. T30 torx they are IIRC.

   Haha I'm guessin that's wat u mean.... Careful mate cos some people may rinse u for summit like that. There are various ways you can find out mate is the car completly standard?

    No its not, its got quite a few mods to it and im just wondering if my lumpy idle when cold may not just be down to a decat as it is sweet when it starts to warm up a bit
    
    It just more along the lines of wishful thinking I think, anyway going to take the cover off just to check for piece of mind this week

    Sorry didnt see your post, i've never had a VTS before and it feels a bit rampant it high revs, along with the idling when cold I was just wondering if it may have some mild one. Well i'll find out this week
