   wen i hit the red line on me rev counter my car dies..... just as it hits 7k revs.... battery light flashes and it sort of struggles. Anyone know wot this could be?

   Alternator mate a stop red lining it if your a good driver it's all todo wig timeing !!!

   nar it only just touches the red line then it dies..... even does it if i rev at stand still.... How much are alternators?

   i dont do it all the time.... i was just giving it a bit of a hoofing down the A1 before... just dont want it to die.... will replaceing the altinator fix the problem

    Yes mate alternator change it and it will be fine but don't rag it like you said you don't but it wines me up there such a good car but people rag em when you canstill go fast but with respecting the car and the car will respect you ....
