saxo conversion

    ive converted my 1.4 west coast to a vtr but ive left 1.4 ecu and loom on i went to start the car and smoke poured out of the drivers side under bonnet i have been told it is the ecu is that right? and wud i get away with putting a vtr ecu on with the 1.4 wiring help please

    why did'nt you change the loom and ecu in the first place??

    i didnt think they would be different the wiring looks exactly the same butr ecu looks different so cud i get away with only changing the ecu

    no you'll have to change the loom aswel, as far as im aware the 1.4's and vts's have the same interior looms but the 1.6 vtr's are different as wel as the ecu's
