Idle problem

  1. #1
After removing the dials out of my MK2 VTR, the car idles at what sounds like 5K revs.. would removing the dials have caused this or is it something else?

Throttel cable isnt stuck, thats 1st thing i checked.

    Thanks

Alright mate it wont be the dials on ur inlut manifold there will be like a map sensor held in with one bolt into ur manifold with a sensor attached think its a 8mm bolt take him off and out give it a good clean this is most likely ur problem done this many times on my saxo and a few mates use wd40 but will probs gradualy get better will need a few cleans
