Hey all retrimmed my headliner but the spray adhisive i used came threw the material i used due to it being thin would it be better to use thicker material with a backing or try find a solvant cleaner to get it off?

#2i bet u used the stuff from b&q?
i've only ever found one spray glue thats strong enough and doesn;t seep tro material and is cheap i'll find link

#3and u could try a solvent cleaner and wash it thro wash machine see if it shifts but wouldn;t fancy the chances

#4Material was of ebay good stuff , spray was from work i'm a carpet fitter and also fit vinyl so fought would work it holds it just thinj maybe should of gone for thicker material

#5ah the stuff i got from b&q was really weak and watery and leaked all thro my material. the stuff i linked is really dry and comes out like silly string and is really strong and doesn;t soak thro

#6sounds like the same stuff comes out like silly string lol think mite be coz material is wafer thin fought would be best coz of the bends how thick was stuff you used? if can get it to work will post pic when go on comp as on fone at the mo

#7stuff i used was thin too, again cos of the curves. did u allow it to dry alittle ie to get tacky? other than that i have no idea.

#9Yeah left to go tacky and still come threw mite just give it another go if does it again try doing another way thanks , wingnuts yeah its simple just really prep that takes long and getting right adhisive lol my advice would go scrap yard and get headliner and sunroof slider so you can take time on it
