What colour primer for my wheels?

    After trawling through pictures on here and discussions with my wife, I've decided to make a start on refurnishing the first of VTR alloys. I've got it stripped down, sanded and all ready to go. I've toyed with the idea of many colours and, I know this might be a bit unusual and slightly left field, but I'm going to paint them ................SILVER I know, crazy!!!!!
    Anyway, do I use a grey or white primer, or does it make any difference at all?

    It won't really make much difference.
    I usually use white though

    It will say on the top of the rattle can matey if you purchase from Halfords, like for example i used Ford Yellow for my mirror caps etc and it said used 'White Primer' for best results .

    grey primer will give a slightly darker shade of grey than the white primer will
