how much from citroen??

   how much would you say about it will cost for a new set of crank pulleys and cam belt would cost and them fitted?? i guess it'll be dear but not sure??

   im guessing about 350 - 400 maybe a bit more as you may aswell get water pump changed

   ffs i new it would be dear im not sure weather to have a go myself go to a privite garage or go citreon but eiter way its gonna be atleast 200

   how long if i took the car in would it be there for a day i no it depend on how busy but its a day job right??

   yeah my mate did my cambelt and seviced the car it for £200

   i had waterpump, new rad, cam belt, thermostat and oil cooler done in half a day, cost me £230

    na from my local garage lol. wouldnt go to citroen for any work to be done. they quoted me just under £700

    because when i go about half throttle or a little bit less there is a knocking noise and i do motor vehicle at college and so does my mate and we both think its that thats knocking so i think that its them thats broke and when i drive for a while i get out and you can smell burning rubber from which i assume is the cam belt

    my old vts crankshaft pulley went. the rubber round seal bit had burnt away, then my auxilary belt went too, so i would say that the aux belt is what you can smell or the rubber in round the pulley is melting away. also if the pulley isnt straight any more then it could be melting the cambelt casing away.
